Unique savoir-faire handed down from father to son

Lylian Richardière has had a passion for fashion and denim since he was a child, and in 2014 he continued the family adventure by taking over the running of Le Temps des Cerises from his father Gil Richardière, the founder of the brand. Continuing in the founder’s footsteps and with his trademark rigour and passion, he has continued the tradition of artisanal stonewashes and pays close attention to every detail regarding the quality of his jeans. This incredible success was soon seen as several boutiques were opened across France and also through an advertising campaign slogan in 2019 that made waves and solidified the identity of Le Temps des Cerises: “Liberty, Equality, Nice Booty”.

Thanks to the Richardière family, Le Temps des Cerises jeans are THE comfortable vintage jeans with a rock’n’roll edge to them and bottom-enhancing properties, and they have been an essential for 25 years now!

An environmentally friendly brand

Le Temps des Cerises has made a commitment to taking an environmentally friendly approach for several years now. The brand ensures that its production process complies with international ethical and environmental standards, and it also works with responsible suppliers.

It has been successful in positioning itself as a leader in sustainable fashion, and several other brands have been inspired and motivated to follow its lead. Its involvement in protecting the environment is no recent development: in 2017, the brand started up its “Recycle Jeaneration” initiative, with the use of recycled cotton. Since it was founded in 1998, Le Temps des Cerises has expanded throughout the Mediterranean basin, the birthplace of denim fabric, and then throughout France.
